The province of Seva is one of the provinces of the Russian Empire. The center is the city of Sevsk .

Sevsky province was formed as part of the Kiev province by the decree of Peter I "On the structure of the provinces and on the definition of rulers in them" in 1719 . The province included the cities of Sevsk, Bryansk , Kamenny , Karachev , Kroma , Nedrigailov , Putivl , Rylsk , Trubchevsk . According to the audit of 1710, there were 17.5 thousand households in the province [2] .
In 1727, the Sevsk province was incorporated into the newly formed Belgorod province .
In November 1775, the division of provinces into provinces was abolished [3] ; the counties went over to the direct subordination of the provinces.
