Evaporation

Evaporation ( lat. Evuporatio ), evaporative purification method - a physical and chemical method of industrial wastewater treatment using water vapor .

The evaporative treatment is carried out by passing saturated waste water through heated to approximately 100 ° C. Passing through the water, the vapor entrains volatile substances polluting it, after which it is cleared of them when passing through the absorber also heated to approximately 100 ° C and supplied for reuse.

Devices for cleaning this method are called evaporative columns and consist of two main parts - evaporative and absorption.

The main advantages of the evaporative cleaning method are relative simplicity with high technical and economic indicators and the absence of additional pollution in the form of reagents remaining in the water.
