Biography

From the nobility of the Moscow province [1] . He was brought up in the 1st Moscow Cadet Corps (1859). Officer Rifle Battalion. Member of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-18 78 years. He left the military service. He began to write in 1880. His first staged plays - “Whim” and “Old in a New Way” - were written in collaboration with A. N. Ostrovsky . The most popular were his dramas “Second Youth” and the last play “Scolded”. In 1909, his short story Unbalanced was published in Awakening magazine . Nevezhin also posted several stories in the Russian Herald and satirical publications. Created about thirty plays.

Pyotr Mikhailovich died in 1919. He was buried in St. Petersburg on the Literary bridges of the Volkovsky cemetery .
