Azure (platform)

Lazurnaya (former name - checkpoint No. 136 ) is a former railway platform on the Moscow - Tver section of the main passage of the October Railway . Opened in 1964 [1] . Located in the industrial district of Tver (in the Moscow region ). Little was claimed (according to monitoring data, 5-7 people per day) [4] . In this regard, in recent years, before the final closure, train stops on it practically ceased to be made: for example, as of 10/14/2011, two electric trains stop on it in the direction of Tver and not a single one in the opposite direction [5] . Overhaul of the platforms was planned for 2011 [6] ; in October, work began on the dismantling of platforms on tracks I and II. There are no ticket offices on the platform [7] . The work of the platform was repeatedly interrupted, the next closure took place on October 27, 2013 (on November 16, 2013 at 11:10 an electric train No. 6708 to Tver stopped) [8] [ significance of fact? ]

According to one version, the name of the platform can come from the surname Lazarev (in turn, derived from the baptismal name Lazarus , which has such diminutive forms as Lazur, Lazutin, Lazutka) [9] . It should be noted that the Lazurnaya industrial zone is also located nearby. But in fact, by the name of the river Lazur flowing nearby.

At the station there are two high landing side platforms, spaced relative to each other. The transition between the platforms is carried out on concrete decks equipped with an alarm system. Not equipped with turnstiles.

In July 2008, EMERCOM exercises were held at the Lazurnaya platform. According to the legend of the train, a train collision occurred near the station [10] .
