Biography

He played for the Zvezda team ( Lugansk / Voroshilovgrad ) (1967–1984). Bronze medalist of the 1976 and 1979 USSR Championships , winner of the EKB 1973 Cup Winners' Cup .

In the USSR national team in official competitions he performed in the years 1977-1980. It consists of: Olympic champion in 1980, world champion in 1978, winner of the World Cup in 1977, two - time European champion (1977 and 1979).

After the end of the playing career F. Lashchenov works as a coach. Headed women's teams: 1984-1993 - Iskra ( Voroshilovgrad / Lugansk ), 1993-1994 - Ejzachibashi ( Istanbul , Turkey ), 1995-1996 - Hapoel ( Kiryat Yam , Israel ), 1996-1997 - " Besiktas ( Istanbul , Turkey ), 2003–2005 - Severodonchanka ( Severodonetsk , Ukraine ), 2005–2008, and since 2009, Iskra ( Lugansk , Ukraine ). In 2001-2003 - coached the men's team of Pakistan . Head coach of men's teams: 1994–1995 and 1997–2000 - Dynamo ( Lugansk , Ukraine ), 2000–2001 - Azot ( Cherkasy , Ukraine ).

As the head coach, he led his teams to the title of champions of Ukraine (1992 - Iskra Lugansk - women), Turkey (1994 - Ejchachibashi Istanbul - women), Israel (1996 - Hapoel Kiryat Yam - women).

Fyodor Lashchyonov is an honorary citizen of Lugansk .
