Big Klimetsky [1] is the largest island of Lake Onega in the Republic of Karelia . It is located within the boundaries of the Kizhi Zoological Reserve .

General information
Belongs to the group of Kizhi skerries .
Administratively part of the Velikogubsky rural settlement of the Medvezhyegorsky district of Karelia .
The area of the island is 147 km². The length is 28 km and the width is 5-9 km. The highest point is Mount Bear Bear 82 meters high.
There are several settlements on the island (the largest is Sennaya Guba , there is a school).
In the southern part of the island is the Klimenets Holy Trinity Monastery .
