Koei Co., Ltd. ( 株式会社 コ ー エ ー Kabushiki gaisha Kōē, also abbreviated 光 栄 ) is a Japanese game developer, publisher and distributor founded in 1978. Best known for the “historical simulation series”, based on the history of China and Japan. The greatest success was brought to them by a series of games - historical tactical actions, led by Dynasty Warriors (era of the Three Kingdoms) and Samurai Warriors (period Sengoku), as well as their mixture - Warriors Orochi . Koei also has a subsidiary, Ryby Party, which focuses on dating simulators.
