Biography
Born in 1914 in Petrograd (according to other sources in Kegostrov of the Arkhangelsk province ). Childhood passed in Pudozh . In 1929 the family moved to Petrozavodsk .
He graduated from the seven-year school and with honors school factory apprenticeship in Petrozavodsk. He worked as a toolmaker at the Onega Machine-Building and Metallurgical Works , worked at the Petrozavodsk Aeroclub since February 1934.
February 18, 1935 made its first independent flight. After the end of the flying club, he was allowed to work as an instructor pilot. May 1, 1935 in Petrozavodsk opened a parachute tower , with which Repnikov was one of the first to jump. Later on, the parachute school opened at the aeroclub, and after passing the necessary sports standards, Repnikov received a parachutist badge, and was sent to the Moscow parachute school. After a successful graduation, he received the title of instructor of parachutists.
Since the fall of 1936 in the ranks of the Red Army in the airborne troops , he was called up by the Petrozavodsk military commissariat of the Karelian ASSR . After a written appeal to Marshal Voroshilov, K. Ye. Was transferred to fighter aircraft in Kegostrov of the Arkhangelsk region, made independent flights on a fighter.
He participated in the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940 in fighter aircraft. In December 1939 he became a member of the CPSU (b) .
From June 1941 - participant of the Great Patriotic War , commander of the I-16 fighter unit. By December 1941, Repnikov made 51 sorties and shot down 5 enemy aircraft.
December 4, 1941 was killed, one of the first on the Karelian front having made an air ram of the enemy. His victim was also a deceased Finnish ace sergeant T. Tomminen from LeLv28, who had 6 victories on his account. His plane MS.406 was shot down by Hurricane Repnikov by a frontal ram. This ram was the first in the Soviet sky on this type of aircraft.
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union to Senior Lieutenant Repnik Nikolai Fyodorovich was posthumously awarded by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated February 22, 1943 for a ram of an enemy aircraft.
He was also awarded two Orders of Lenin and the Order of the Red Banner .

Father - Fedor Ivanovich Repnikov (died in 1933), mother - Praskovya Matveevna Repnikova, brothers - Anatoly, Yevgeny, sister - Valentine.
June 28, 1940 Nikolay Repnikov married. March 16, 1941 he had a daughter, Tatiana, who currently lives in Petrozavodsk .
Memory
- The name of the Hero is the street and lane in Petrozavodsk.
- A memorial plaque was installed on the house on Kirov Street in Petrozavodsk, where he lived. Currently, the house is demolished, the board is lost.
- The portrait of Nikolay Repnikov was installed in the monumental portrait gallery of Heroes, opened in 1977 in Petrozavodsk in the area of Antikainen and Krasnaya streets.
- A tree was planted next to the Heroes Gallery in honor of Nikolai Repnikov.
- On Repnikov Street, in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, a stele is installed.
