History
Yalta Jewish Religious Community (Yalta Jewish Community) - was recreated in 1996 as the legal successor of the Jewish Community of Yalta that existed in 1861-1940.

The community cooperates with the Israeli cultural center, various Jewish organizations in Ukraine , Russia , Israel , Germany, the USA
In 1998, at the expense of the Community, a Monument was made and installed at the site of the execution of 4,500 Jews of Yalta, 44.502159.34.20479 . At the expense of the community books are published about the Holocaust and the Yalta ghetto, the Jewish heroes of Yalta, the famous Jews of the Yalta, past and present.
The community contains a museum, one of the exhibits of which is the original display of the southern coast of Crimea indicating Jewish places.
The community began the construction of a synagogue under an agreement with municipal authorities and an investor. The detached synagogue building will occupy about 400 m². The timing of completion depends on the financing of the project.
The community participates in various social events in the city of Yalta :
- 1998 "Haverim" seminar for leaders and leaders of the Jewish communities of the CIS with the participation of Rav Adin Steinsalz and children's camps of the international religious organization EZRA;
- participation in the filming of the film about Chufut-Kale .
