I fly (legal name - LLC “Ay Fly” ^[1] , translated as “ I fly ” ) is a Russian charter airline operating international flights for tour operators TEZ TOUR and Tui .

Based at the Moscow airport Vnukovo . The headquarters of the airline is also located in Moscow ^[2] .

Content

History

October 30, 2009 I fly airline received a certificate of the operator. The first flight took place on December 4, 2009 from Vnukovo to Antalya Turkish Airport .

On April 24, 2015, the airline launched regular flights from Moscow to the cities of China - Xian , Shenyang , Tianjin ^[3]

On July 1, 2016, the Federal Air Transport Agency imposed the validity period of the certificate of the operator i Fly first until July 15, then the restriction was extended until August 1. The reason - an insufficient number of boards. ^[4] For this reason, many passengers who bought tickets from I Fly could not fly to their destinations at all or flew off with a daily delay by airplanes of other airlines.

The head of Rosaviation, Alexander Neradko, on August 10, 2016 sent a letter to the head of Rostourism, Oleg Safonov, in which he informed that the term of the I Flyer’s operator certificate was valid until October 1, after which the charter company could stop transportation. ^[five]

Order of the Federal Air Transport Agency No. 729 dated September 20, 2016 limits on the period of validity of the operator's certificate were removed. ^[five]

Incidents

On June 6, 2013, a dead man was found in the aircraft landing gear ^[13] ;
On December 28, 2013, a flight to Thailand made an emergency landing at Pakistan Lahore airport due to a heart attack by one of the passengers ^[14] .
