Masters 1988 ( Eng. Masters 1988 , also known as Benson and Hedges Masters 1988 - by the name of the sponsor) is a professional non-rated snooker tournament held from January 24 to January 31, 1988 at the Wembley Convention Center, London . The winner of the tournament was Steve Davis , who beat Mike Hallett in the final with a score of 9: 0. So far this is the only final in the history of Masters, in which the victory was recorded with a “dry” score.
