He played for the team: Dynamo ( Vilnius ), in 1966-1973 - Petrel ( Kharkov ), in 1973-1974 - Lokomotiv (Kharkov).
In the USSR national team in official competitions he performed in 1968-1969. In its composition became the Olympic champion (1968) , the bronze medalist of the World Cup (1969) .
