Biography
Maria Mironova was born on December 24, 1910 ( January 6 ), 1911 in Moscow, in the family of a school teacher Elizaveta Ivanovna (1876-1937) and a merchandiser Vladimir Nikolaevich Mironov (1881-1950) [2] . Father came from not rich bourgeois. Parents of the mother, Ivan and Marya Firsov, were from the village of Staroe Beryozovo, Tambov province [3] .
In 1927, Mironova graduated from the Theater College. A.V. Lunacharsky (now the Russian Institute of Theater Arts - GITIS ) and was enrolled in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater 2nd , where she performed until 1931 . In 1928, she first appeared on the stage of the Hall of Columns as a pop actress with Chekhov's stories.
In 1932-1936 she was an actress of the Moscow Music Hall . At the same time she played at the Moscow Operetta Theater and the Moscow Transport Theater (now the Moscow Drama Theater named after N.V. Gogol ).
In 1934, she made her film debut in the drama Konstantin Eggert, "Nastya Ustinova." However, the role of the secretary of the bureaucrat Byvalov in the comedy of Grigory Alexandrov “ Volga-Volga ” (1938) brought her fame.
From 1938 to 1946 she served in the Moscow Variety and Miniature Theater (now the Hermitage Theater). During the war, she performed in acting front-line brigades. In 1947, she played for a short time in the Chamber Theater under the guidance of A. Tairov .
Since 1948, she worked in a duet with her husband, pop actor Alexander Menaker . In 1952, he officially took shape in the theater of two actors, known as "Mironova and Menaker." From 1954 until the death of Menaker, they performed at the Moscow Variety Theater .
Over the years of work on the stage, Mironova created many comedic and sharply satirical images in the productions of Talking Letters, You Will Know Them, Family Matters (1954), Blots (1959), Man and Women (1971) , “Hotel Room” (1976), “Wolves in the City” (1964) by Lev Sheinin . She also performed the monologues that Arkady Arkanov , Grigory Gorin , Semyon Altov , Alexander Volodarsky , Maryan Belenky and others wrote for her. At various times, she collaborated with Moskontsert .
The collection of the radio fund contains more than a hundred records of pop miniatures, interludes, and performances with the participation of the actress, including authors such as Mikhail Zoshchenko , Mikhail Ardov , Leonid Lench , Vladimir Polyakov , Boris Laskin , Vladimir Dykhovichny and Maurice Slobodskoy [4] .
In 1984, the book "... In its Repertoire" was published, written by Mironova in collaboration with her husband, who passed away in two years of this.
Since 1990, Mironova was an actress of the Moscow Tabakov Theater . In 1995, her benefit was held in the theater " School of modern play ". The last time the actress took the stage in the play "The old man left the old woman" Semyon Zlotnikova .
Maria Mironova died on November 13, 1997 in a central clinical hospital in Moscow as a result of a heart attack [5] . She was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery next to her son [6] .
