Governor-General of Saint Lucia, Governor of St. Lucia, is a representative of the monarch Saint Lucia (currently Queen Elizabeth II ). Since the queen cannot be located in all the kingdoms of the Commonwealth , she appoints representatives to carry out her duties as queen of Saint Lucia. Governor-Generals are responsible for appointing the prime minister , as well as other government ministers, after consulting the prime minister.
