Stoyan Putz ( Slovenian. Stojan Puc ; April 9, 1921 , Novo-Mesto - January 29, 2004 , Kranj ) - Slovenian , formerly Yugoslavian , chess player , honorary grandmaster ( 1984 ). Winner of the IX Chess Olympiad in the team of Yugoslavia ( 1950 ). Participant of 17 championships of Yugoslavia; best results: 1947 and 1951 - 3rd; 1961 - 2-4th places.
