Yandiev, Dzhemaldin Khamurzaevich

Dzhemaldin Khamurzaevich Yandiev (October 15, 1916 , the village of Balta in the Terek region - 1979 ) is the first people's poet in Ingushetia , a member of the Writers Union of the USSR , and the chairman of the Writers Union of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. One of the most talented Ingush poets, recognized in his lifetime as a classic of Ingush literature.

Biography

Born on October 15, 1916 in the village of Balta of the Terek region (now North Ossetia ) in a mountain peasant family. His mother died in 1920, his father - in 1950 in deportation to Kazakhstan .

In 1925 he graduated from the village school. In 1929 he entered the preparatory group of the industrial polytechnic of Vladikavkaz and in 1936 received a degree in heat mechanics. In the same year, he began working as a literary employee of the Leninine Nek newspaper.

In 1934-1937 he studied in absentia in the Literary Institute. M. Gorky .

Since December 20, 1936, he has been working as a correspondent for the Leninine Nek newspaper and also as a translator for ChechIngosizdat.

From 1938 to 1944 - Chairman of the Board of the Union of Soviet Writers of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

February 23, 1944 during the deportation of the Ingush and Chechens, was expelled to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. He earned a living in minor economic positions.

From 1956 to 1958 he studied at two-year courses at the Union of Writers of the USSR in Moscow .

Since 1959 - editor of the Grozny television studio . From June 1967 - literary consultant of the Writers' Union of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .

Creativity

Author of more than 20 poetry collections in the Ingush and Russian languages. The translators of D. H. Yandiev’s poems into Russian at various times were A. Tarkovsky, A. Gatov, S. Lipkin, N. Korzhavin, N. Asanov, D. Golubkov, S. Vilensky, S. Olender, A. Peredreev, B. Sirotin, A. Boyarinov and others.

One of Jemaldin Yandiev's poems “Mother Sings”:

Month is sinking
in a thin haze,
Goes off sleepy sky.
Mother is cradling a child
And above it
The dream flies.
A dream enters the house

Postage stamp of Russia, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jemaldin Yandiev. 2016 year.

In 2012, a memorial plaque of Jemaldin Yandiyev was installed in a rural settlement of Ordzhonikidzevskoe [1] . In 2016, the Federal Communications Agency decided to issue a special brand in honor of the 100th anniversary of the poet [2] . In the same year the bust of the poet was opened in a. Dachnoe Prigorodny district of North Ossetia [3] .
