Content
History
Bonner County was founded on February 21, 1864 . The district was named in honor of the private businessman Edwin Bonner, who launched the ferry to the city of Bonners Ferry along the Kutenay River. The ferry service has become an important transport hub on the route of Wall Wall migrants to gold mines and quartz deposits in British Columbia . [2]

Geography
Bonner County is located in the northern part of Idaho, on the so-called "peninsula." The area of the district is 4,972 km² , of which 471 km² (9.47%) is occupied by water. In the district there is a significant part of Pand Orey Lake .
