  Judo

Judo competitions were held according to the elimination system. In the consolation rounds were athletes who lost to the semifinalists of the tournament. Two athletes who won the consolation round fought with the losers in the semifinals in a duel for bronze.

  Fencing

In individual competitions, athletes fight three rounds of three minutes, or until one of the athletes delivers 15 injections. In team competitions, the fight lasts 9 rounds of 4 minutes each, or up to 45 injections. If at the end of time a draw is recorded in a duel, then an additional minute is assigned before the “golden” shot.
