Story
Two hunters go hunting in the Safari . There they kill deer, zebras, monkeys and antelopes. But the most valuable prey was the lion, which chased after deer.

Production
The "Jungle" in which the film was made was a landmark . The film was shot in Jegersborg Park near Copenhagen . The film was shot animals from the Copenhagen Zoo . True, two lions lived on the island of Elleor near the Roskilde Fjord .
Remakes and copies
In 1907, the film premiered in Sweden . Although the premiere took place in 1907 in the country of production, there is a version that in Denmark the premiere took place on November 11, 1908. Nordisk Film Kompagni sold 259 copies of the film. The film was shot in the golden days of the company (this is the very first film of a film studio). In 1909, a remake of "Bear Hunt" was shot in Russia, of which 118 copies were preserved.
Team
Viggo Larsen was both a director and an actor. Knud Lumbue played the second hunter, and William Fomsen played a guide. Axel Grotkier , who later became famous, appeared in the credits with the name A. Sørensen.
