Cold Farm was first mentioned in the list of Don farms and villages in 1837. According to him, he belonged to the yurt of the Nizhne-Kargalskaya stanitsa (since 1844 the Mariinsky stanitsa community) and was located on the left bank of the river Solonaia . According to the census of 1846 there were 49 yards in the farm, there were 272 inhabitants. By the end of the 19th century there were 138 courtyards, 877 people lived, of which 680 were Cossacks and Cossacks. On the basis of religion, the division was as follows: 572 Old Believers , 302 Orthodox , 3 Buddhists ( Kalmyks ). ^[one]

In July 1942, battles were fought in the vicinity of the farm, during which about 200 Red Army soldiers died and were killed. In 1957, a reburial was erected from individual graves in the area of ​​the farm and a monument was erected above the mass grave (number of the burial in the Military Memorial Center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation 61-232). ^[2]
