Biography

Decim Yuniy Brut Stseva came from the ancient Roman plebeian clan Yuniev .

In 339 BC e. during the Second Latin War, Decimus Junius was appointed commander of the cavalry under the dictator Quint Publiil Filon . [one]

In 325 BC e. Decimus Junius was elected consul together with Lucius Fury Camille . In that year, the Westins made an alliance with the Samnites against whom the Romans waged war. Decim Junius fell to fight against the Westins. First, he ravaged the Westin lands and burned small settlements, thereby forcing them into an open battle. During the battle, Decimus Junius greatly undermined the fighting ability of the Westin army. After that, he seized two Westin cities with an attack - Kutina and Tsingiliya. [2]
