Auez, Carl Oscar

Carl Oscar Aues ( German: Carl Oscar Ahues ; December 26, 1883 , Bremen - December 31, 1968 , Hamburg ) - German chess player ; international master ( 1950 ). Chess writer, radio commentator. Champion of Berlin (1910) and Germany ( 1929 ). As part of the German team, he participated in the Olympics in 1930-1931 . The best results in international tournaments: Berlin ( 1926 ) - 3-5th; Kecskemét ( 1927 ) - 5-7th; San Remo (1930) - 6th; Liege (1930) - 3-5th place.
