Geography
Located 23 km from the city of Melenki . On the banks of the Oka River.
History
One version connects the name Dmitriyevy Gory with the name of Prince Dmitry Donskoy , who was crossing the Oka at this point during his campaign to Kulikov Field.
Before the revolution, the center of the Dimitrovsk-Gorsky volost of the Melenkovsky district . In 1859 [2] there were 249 households in the village, in 1905 [3] - 158 households
During the years of Soviet power, the center of the Dmitriyev-Gorsky village council of the Lyakhovsky district , from 1963 - the Melenkovsky district , the central estate of the Bolshevik collective farm .

Infrastructure
In the village there are Dmitrievogorsk secondary school (the new building was built in 1986) [11] , kindergarten No. 21, a culture center, a medical dispensary, a detachment of the state fire service, operating ticket office No. 93/0110 of Sberbank of Russia, a local police station, and a federal department postal service [12] .
