Basilica in Nepokalyanovo
Nepokalyanov , Nepokalyanov ( Polish: Niepokalanów ) is a Catholic sanctuary dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and located in Poland in the commune of Teresin , 40 kilometers west of Warsaw . This sanctuary is the most important pilgrimage center of central Poland.
Without kicking, it was founded in 1927 by the Franciscan priest Maximilian Kolbe from scratch (ranked as a saint in 1982).
Currently on the territory of this sanctuary is the Franciscan monastery OFMConv [1] , the basilica , the museum of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the radio station Radio Nepokalyan and the Catholic publishing house .
