The gold vault is considered one of the most secure in the world: its walls are made of granite, covered with a layer of concrete, and the entrance protects the door weighing 22 tons. In order to open the door, you need to know the code, which is divided into parts between several people, no one knows it completely. In the event of an attack, an autonomous life support and power supply system is also provided, which also includes food and water supplies. The security of the complex is so great that historically significant things such as the royal regalia of Great Britain and the Magna Carta were deposited at Fort Knox during World War II [2] .
