Biography
In 1971 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ural State University.
Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1974). Doctor of physico-mathematical sciences (1981).
In 1972-1996 employee of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Ural Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (Sverdlovsk). Doctor of physico-mathematical sciences (1981). In 1993-2012. worked at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (Austria), heading the department of systems analysis.
Since 1996, an employee of the department of ordinary differential equations of the Mathematical Institute. V.A.
In 1997-2014, he worked concurrently as a professor at the Department of Optimal Control, Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Moscow State University .
Since May 30, 1997 - Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics and Control Processes).
Since May 25, 2006 - academician of the RAS .
Scientific Interests
Theory of differential games , inverse problems of dynamics for controlled systems, numerical optimization methods, control theory, theory of evolutionary games.
