“Killing Loneliness” ( Russian: Killing Loneliness ) is HIM’s third single from their fifth full-length album, Dark Light . The composition itself entered the album under the fourth number. Recording a track was characterized by recording problems. Vocalist of the group Ville Valo says:

We could not bring it to perfection. We had drums and guitars, but the keys and vocals did not add up. For more than two months, we redid everything and redid the frame until we reached the desired.
The single has reached high positions in European charts.
A video clip with two versions was shot on the composition: European (released in November 2005) and American (April 2006). In the European version of the clip, HIM is presented as an object of observation in a pip show. In the American version, Finnish metallers play on a round stage, decorated with a heartagram - the symbol of the group. Both videos were shot in Los Angeles , USA. The director for the European version was Noble Jones, for the American - Netan Cox.
