Group History

The idea of creating a band belongs to the notorious guitarist Dino Casares ( Fear Factory , Brujeria , Asesino ). With the support of drummer Tim Yong (Vital Remains, Hate Eternal ), the team begins to write new material, and after eight months of successful work on their debut album, the group is complemented by vocalist Tommy Cummings (Vext).

Bleed The Fifth's debut release was recorded from February to May 2007, and was released in September via the influential metal label Century Media Records. The distributor of the record outside North America was the equally influential Roadrunner Records . The production and mixing of the material was entrusted to Dirty Icon Production. All bass parts for "Bleed The Fifth" were recorded by Dino himself, and later bassist Joey Payne ( Nile ) was accepted into the Divine Heresy.

In the summer of 2008, Tommy Cummings leaves the group, and frontman is taken by vocalist Travis Neal (Pushed, The Bereaved). Here is what Dino Casares said on this occasion: “We are just delighted that Travis joined us, we immediately knew that he was the best person for this position. He has definitely a strong range and behavior on stage, which makes him one of the deadliest vocalists in the genre, and the new material that we are composing should outshine our debut. He’s brutal, faster and more annoying. ”

In August of that year, ending a tour of North America with interim vocalist Jack Veredika (ex Periphery ), the team staged a tour of Mexico, followed by a series of concerts in the United States.
