Biography
Hans Matheson was born in Stornoway , on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland . Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Canterbury , Kent , UK.
At the insistence of his mother, Matheson entered Avondale Hall School of Dramatic Art in Clapham. He participated in an audition for the television series Yez Butterworth entitled "Christmas", which led him to a role in "Mojo" on the stage of the Royal Theater and later to a role in the film under the same name. This was followed by roles in the television series Bramwell (1996) and Wycliffe (1994), and then roles in the films Stella's Tricks (1996), All the Same Goofy (1998), and Podstav (1999).
