Geography
The village is located 5 km south of the administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Golyany , 35 km southeast of the center of Izhevsk and 22 km east of the district center .
The village is located on the right bank of the Kama River, at the confluence of the small rivers Makarovka and Kasyanovka.
History
According to 1928, 698 people lived in Makarovo [2] .
