Biography
Graduated in Australia and the UK.
- In 1956-1959 - at the Ministry of Finance;
- in 1959-1961 - the tuanca of Johor’s Machot;
- in 1966-1981 - had the title of Raja Muda (crown prince).
From 1981 - the Sultan of Johor , and in 1984-1989 - the king ( Young di Pertuan Agong ) of Malaysia. For three years before that, he served as the Timbalan Young di Pertuan Agong (Viceroy) of Malaysia.
