Games in Group B at the 2010 World Cup are held from June 12 to 22, 2010 . [1] The group consists of teams from Argentina , Nigeria , the Republic of Korea and Greece . In 1994, the World Cup had a similar situation: in one group were the teams of Argentina, Nigeria and Greece, but together with the Bulgarian team . Then Nigeria, Bulgaria and Argentina, who won 2 matches each, reached the playoffs.
In the latest FIFA national team ranking, Argentina was in 7th place, Greece in 13th, Nigeria in 21st and the Republic of Korea in 47th place. [2] In this group, Argentina is the most titled: 2 times won the championship (in 1978 and 1986 ) and 2 times took the 2nd place (in 1930 and 1990 ). Nigeria's national team won the 1996 Summer Olympics .
In the playoffs, the team taking 1st place will play with the team taking 2nd place in group A , and the team taking 2nd place will play with the winner of group A.
