Komsomol - a lake on the island of Wrangel . Administratively located on the territory of the Iultinsky district of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug . Included in the reserve is Wrangel Island .

It is located on the northwestern coast of the island, separated from the East Siberian Sea by a sandy isthmus on which the hut is located (loc. - “Chayvyn's hunter's house”, 1970s). From the south, the lake is surrounded by the Unnamed mountains, while the reservoir is in a hollow between two spurs .
From the northeast, a small stream of several small lakes flows into the lake, east of which the Nanook River flows into the sea.
There are watercolors created near Lake Komsomol with a view of the hut and the old Chukchi canoe [1] .
