"Combat" - a squadron destroyer of the type "Mechanical Engineer Zverev" , built to strengthen the Russian fleet in the Far East . Until October 10, 1907 was listed as a destroyer. Named in honor of the destroyer of the same name who died in the Russian-Japanese war .

Construction and pre-war service
On April 15, 1905, he was enlisted in the lists of ships of the Baltic Fleet, on March 11, 1905, laid down at the Schihau shipyard in Elbing ( Germany ), launched on January 9, 1906, was commissioned in spring 1906 . From sending the destroyer to Vladivostok refused because of the end of hostilities with Japan .
"Combat" underwent a major overhaul of the hull and main machinery in 1910-1911 at the Creighton & Co plant in St. Petersburg with the replacement of boilers.
On the eve of the First World War, the destroyers of the type "Mechanical Engineer Zverev" were brought into the third division of the First Mine Division.
Further fate
During World War I, it carried an auxiliary and patrol service, provided anti-submarine defense for the main forces of the fleet. June 27, 1916 unsuccessfully attacked a German submarine. In 1916, the building underwent a major overhaul with the replacement of pipes in boilers. Participated in the February Revolution .
April 12, 1918 left in Helsingfors ( Helsinki ) and interned there by German troops. Under the terms of the Brest Peace Treaty, the RSFSR was returned and sent to Kronstadt , where, since May 1918, it has been in long-term storage.
In 1924, it was handed over to the “Commodity Funds” for sale and on November 21, 1925 it was excluded from the RKKF.
