Kirguli [1] [2] ( Uzbek. Kirguli, Qirguli ) is a housing estate within the city of Ferghana . Located 4 km north of the center. As of 2012, the population was 22,808 residents [3] .

Content
History
Since 1961, it was an urban-type settlement subordinate to the Ferghana City Council. Until 2004, it had the status of the Ferghana region [4] .
Industry
The largest petrochemical industry in the country, such as the Ferghana Oil Refinery and the Ferganaazot Joint-Stock Company specializing in the production of mineral fertilizers, as well as the Ferghana Thermal Power Plant, which provides electricity and heat to nearby areas of Ferghana, Margilan and Tashlak, are located on the territory of the Kirgilin industrial zone.
Education
Here is located one of the largest technical universities of the republic - the Ferghana Polytechnic Institute .
Here is one of the very first private schools in Uzbekistan
