Early yarot ( Latin Thlaspi praecox ) is a species of perennial herbaceous plants of the genus Yurutka ( Thlaspi ) of the Brassicaceae family .

It is found in the Mediterranean , Dnieper , Black Sea , Crimea , the Balkan Peninsula and Asia Minor .

Botanical Description
There are several stems , straight, simple, bluish, 8β28 cm high.
The leaves are thick, whole or slightly jagged; basal often reddish, petiolate , oblong or rounded; stem - oblong, stem-embracing.
Sepals are reddish, 2β2.5 mm long. Petals are white, obovate-oval-oblong, 3-5 mm long. Anthers barely exceed cup.
Pods are triangular-back-cordate, 5-6 mm long, four- seed nests.
