Geography
The proximity to Nizhny Novgorod , the presence of the eponymous stopping platform of the Gorky Railway , as well as the nearby Linda River, determine the built-up area of the village's surroundings with numerous garden plots .
History
The first references to Rekshino are found in archival documents from the end of the 16th century . An interesting document attesting to the founding of the village of Rekshino and the economic activities of its inhabitants was discovered by the Nizhny Novgorod local historian, professor of the UNN, Filatov Nikolay Filippovich in the State Archives of the Gorky Region: “On December 109 (1601) on the 20th day it was written, Rekshinskoye was fixed on lake at Rekshinsky and it occupants on. Fetka Fedorov, d. Ivanka Fomin, d. Mikhalko Emelyanov ... live four years bortnom forest on chernorameni and land plowed floor at three-thirty ...
