Schwabacher , swabs ( germ. Schwabacher ) - a type of Gothic writing , originated in the XV century . A broken letter with rounded outlines of some letters. This font dominated in Germany from the end of the XV to the middle of the XVI century , after which it was replaced by a fracture , but remained popular until the XX century.
