Vasily Alekseevich Barhatov (born July 29, 1983 , Moscow ) - Russian film and theater director, screenwriter, actor. Artistic Director of the Mikhailovsky Theater Opera Company (season 2013/2014) [1] , member of the Presidential Council for Culture and the Arts under the President of the Russian Federation (2011-2012), member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation of the third and fourth compositions (2010-2012) [ 2] .

Biography

Born July 29, 1983 in Moscow in a family of journalists. He graduated from Moscow gymnasium No. 1504.

In 2005 he graduated from GITIS , the faculty of musical theater , the department of directing and mastery of an actor in a musical theater (workshop of Rosetta Nemchinskaya ).
