The Wolf Cave ( Fin. Susiluola ) is located in Finland near the town of Kristinestad in the Pohjanmaa province, on the banks of the Karijoki River.

The cave is unique in that during the last ice age it was hidden by the thickness of the glacier and was below sea level. In 1996, during excavations, stone tools of 130–120 thousand years old were discovered. n and other traces, possibly, of Neanderthal activity during the Eemian warming [1] .

The area of the cave is 400 square meters. It is a horizontal gap in the rock and is very ancient. Sea level in different historical periods formed 6 sedimentary layers at the bottom of the cave. The oldest are several hundred thousand years old.
