The provisional revolutionary government of the Republic of South Vietnam ( Vietnamese. Chính phủ Cách mạng lâm thời Cộng hoà miền Nam Việt Nam ) was created in 1969 by forces opposed to the ruling regime.

History
In 1960, the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam was established. Over the next 9 years, the organization fought in the Republic of Vietnam against the Saigon regime as an opposition. On July 8, 1969, the Congress of People's Representatives formed the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam . Most of the time, the government was outside of South Vietnam and positioned itself as a government in exile .
April 30, 1975 the troops of the Provisional Government entered Saigon . July 2, 1976 there was a merger of North and South Vietnam into the Socialist Republic of Vietnam .
