Olympic rowing competitions were held from July 28 to July 31 at the rowing center in Henley-on-Thames , where the Royal Regatta competitions are held annually. In each race two boats started. The winner of the race went to the next round, and the loser completed the fight for medals. Crews who were inferior in the semifinals became owners of bronze awards.
