Melissa Susan George ( born Melissa Suzanne George , born August 6, 1976 [2] , Perth , Australia ) is an Australian actress . In 2008, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role in the TV series In Treatment .

Career
She started modeling business from an early age and in 1992 was named the model of the year in Western Australia among adolescents. At the age of sixteen, she was noticed by an agent for the selection of actors Liz Mullinar and invited her to a role in the Australian television series Home and the Way . For the sake of an acting career, George left Perth and moved to Sydney . After three years of filming in the series, she decided to leave him for other roles. Melissa starred nude for the Australian version of Playboy Magazine shortly after leaving the TV series Home and Go.
George recorded video courses for maintaining health and body shape by Mind, Body and Soul (1996), created her underwear line called An Angel at My Bedside , and also appeared periodically in the series Roar ( 1997) before moving to Los Angeles to try her luck in the USA . After moving, she played small roles in several films, including The Dark City , The Englishman, Mulholland Drive , and Fuck Love! ". She also starred in several pilot episodes of television series that did not go on the air, including Lost in the Country of Oz . She starred in the sixth season of the popular television series Charmed .
George achieved a significant breakthrough in 2003 when she got roles in the TV series " Spy " and the series " Friends ".
She got her first big role in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror. In the same year, she starred in the thriller The Price of Treason , which was also played by Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston .

Since 2011, Melissa has been dating producer Jean-David Blanc . The couple has two sons - Rafael Blank (born 06/02/2014) [4] and Solal Samuel Glenn Blank (born 03/03/2015) [5] . In 2016, former partner Melissa George publicly accused him of physically assaulting herself, which led to the termination of the relationship. Both of them were convicted by the court for mutual violence. In September 2016, George broke up with Blanca due to allegations of domestic violence that allegedly took place in their house in Paris. George was hospitalized with head and neck injuries, and Blank and George were charged with a home assault in connection with the incident, with Blank claiming that George provoked a confrontation.
