Career
He became a professional in 1984. In 1990, he won his only ranking tournament - the British Open , beating Alex Higgins in the final, 10: 8 [2] . Bob also won the Canadian national team at the World Cup in 1990. In addition to the British Open, Chaperon at least once reached the quarter-finals of another ranking tournament ( 1987 Grand Prix ). Bob won the Canadian Snooker Championship twice (in 1981 and 2000). The highest Canadian position in the world ranking is 26th in the 1990/91 season, but just after this season Chaperon’s career began to decline, and in 2001 he left professional snooker.
