Geographical position
The village is located 3 km from the left bank of the Byk River, 1.5 km from the village of Petropavlovka and the village of Troitskoye .
History
The settlement was founded in 1920 by settlers from the village of Petropavlovka and named after the Bolshevik I.P. Bragin, who died on October 10, 1919 in a fierce battle with the White Guards [3] .
During World War II in 1941 - 1943 the village was under German occupation , a Soviet partisan group operated in it, the commander of which was I. S. Smirny [3] .
In 1957 - assigned the status of urban-type settlement .
As of the beginning of 1969, in the village there was a central estate of the collective farm “Communist”, an eight-year school, a house of culture and a library were operating [3] .
In January 1989, the population was725 people [4] .
In March 1995, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine included the elevator located in the village in the list of enterprises whose privatization is prohibited due to their national importance [5] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 328 people [6] .
In May 2016, the village of Braginovka was renamed Zaliznichnoye (translated from Ukrainian - Zheleznodorozhny ).
