Re-formation of the division and the name of its successors, their participation in hostilities:

Since 1946, the division has been stationed near Arkhangelsk on the Forest River.

On June 7, 1946, the 77th Guards Infantry Chernigov Order of Lenin, the Red Banner, the Order of Suvorov, the division was reorganized into the 10th Separate Guards Infantry Chernigov Order of Lenin, the Red Banner Order of the Suvorov Brigade. Staff number 5/120 - 5/127. Directive NSGS USSR Supreme Soviet Org / 1/0105 dated May 6, 1946.

On April 19, 1952, the 10th Separate Guards Infantry Chernigov Order of Lenin, the Red Banner, the Order of Suvorov, the brigade was reorganized into the 77th Guards Infantry Chernigov Order of Lenin, the Red Banner Division, and the Order of Suvorov. State number 4/820 - 832.

In 1957, the rifle division was reformed into a motorized rifle division.

By order of the USSR Ministry of Defense No. 080 dated March 27, 1967, in order to preserve the fighting traditions of the rifle divisions of the national militia fanned by glory and given the importance of educating the personnel of the Soviet Armed Forces on their heroic deeds, the name "Moscow" was restored by continuity - the 77th Guards Motorized Rifle Moscow-Chernigov Order of Lenin, Red Banner, Order of Suvorov Division.

In the autumn of 1989, the division was incorporated into the Northern Fleet as the 77th Guards Moscow-Chernihiv Order of Lenin, the Red Banner, the Order of Suvorov, the coastal defense division

In 1994, it was reorganized into the 163rd Guards Moscow-Chernigov Order of Lenin, the Red Banner, the Order of Suvorov Coast Defense Brigade. The location is Arkhangelsk .

On March 1, 1996, the brigade was disbanded, its Banner and awards were transferred to the 332th Separate Marine Corps Battalion of the Caspian Flotilla (this battalion was formed in 1994 in the city of Astrakhan, in 1998), after receiving the Battle Banner, renamed 600th Separate Marine Guards Battalion ( Kaspiysk ).

On December 1, 2000, on the basis of the 600th Separate Guards Battalion of the Marine Corps and the 414th Separate Battalion of the Marine Corps (formed in 1999 in the town of Kaspiysk of the Republic of Dagestan), the 77th Separate Guards Order of the Lenin-Chernigov Order of the Red Banner was formed, Order of Suvorov Marine Corps Brigade .

November 1999 - September 2000 - the active participation of brigade personnel in the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus. More than 30 responsible tasks of clearing settlements from militants have been completed. More than 300 soldiers have been awarded orders and medals for courage and heroism.

April 2001 - performance of combat missions in the mountainous Dagestan. Soldiers of the compound operated in the Tsumadinsky district, at an altitude of over 2 thousand meters above sea level. More than 200 marines received deserved state awards.

Maintaining peace and tranquility in the Vedeno district of the Chechen Republic throughout the year. December 20, 2004 - return to the permanent location of the city of Kaspiysk.

When, after the war, the 77th Guards Division was reorganized into a brigade of marines, they tried to take the Battle Banner and the orders of the famous rifle formation from her. The Moscow Committee of War Veterans has achieved that the divisional Combat Banner was transferred to the brigade of marines. Now the compound is housed in the Caspian (Dagestan), is actively involved in the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus. The Moscow government allocated more than 10 million rubles for the construction of the brigade. Such is the connection between the Moscow national militia and the current Muscovites, with the current generation of defenders of the Motherland.
