Yuri Viktorovich Gladilshchikov (born April 28, 1961 , Krasnodar ) is a Russian film critic and publicist, a graduate of the journalism faculty of Moscow State University (1983).

He began as a theater critic, in 1986-1991 he headed the department of art in the Literary Newspaper . During Perestroika, he led the “ Kinopanorama ”. Until March 2004 - film critic of the Izvestia newspaper, at the same time (1996-2001) collaborated with Itogi magazine. In 1993 he was awarded the Golden Aries Prize.
Currently published in Vedomosti , Russian Newsweek and The New Times magazines. Since 1996, compiles its own lists of the best films of the year. In 2008, he published "Dreambook" - a guide to contemporary cinema.
From a series of directorial biographies that Gladilshchikov ordered for his colleague and friend A. Plakhov when he was a film reviewer for Nezavisimaya Gazeta , the books of the latter, “Just 33” and “Directors of the Present” [1] , have grown.
In March 2014, he signed a letter “We are with you!” Of “ KinoSoyuz ” in support of Ukraine [2] .
An active opponent of correct translations of films by D.Yu. Puchkova, better known as Goblin, literally stating in an interview with "Interlocutor" [3] : that translations of Goblin films can "be liked only by people who really don't like movies."
