Biography
Military doctor. Labor activist. In 1920, he was a member of the Labor delegation who visited Soviet Russia.
Member of Parliament in 1923-1927 and 1938-1950. In 1950, he was granted the Baron title.
Hayden-Guest converted to Judaism before marrying Muriel Golsmead, his second wife. [3] He abandoned Judaism in 1924, calling himself Konfessionslos. [4] [5] He was the first Jew elected to parliament from the Labor Party. [6]
Son - David Guest , mathematician and philosopher , communist. Member of the civil war in Spain . Volunteer is an inter-brigade man .
