Grandson of I.N. Deboltseva , son - S. S. Mazaraki , grandfather of the singer N. A. Obukhova .

Biography

From a noble family of Polish descent dating back to the 17th century . One of its branches remained in Ukraine after its accession to Russia. From it came the father of Andrian Semenovich, artillery lieutenant general Semyon Semenovich ( 1787 - 1854 ), who served with distinction in the war of 1812 [1] . The eldest of his descendants was called Mazaraki-Deboltsev.

The genus of Mazaraka was included in the genealogy books of the nobles of the Kingdom of Poland and in the VI, I and II parts of the genealogy books of the Kiev , Chernihiv , Yekaterinoslav , Poltava and Bessarabian provinces (Herbovnik, VIII, 129 and XIII, 49).

Nadezhda Obukhova

January 20, 1850 - admitted to the Page Corps .

August 13, 1853 - made in cell-pages.

June 17, 1854 - promoted to ensign of the Life Guards of the Semenovsky Regiment [2] .

In the years 1854-1855 . - was part of the troops guarding the coast of St. Petersburg province.

In 1855, he was promoted to second lieutenant [3] .

May 16, 1858 - retired with the rank of lieutenant [4] .

December 25, 1858 - passed certification in the civilian department with the re-registration of military ranks to civilian, becoming a titular adviser and appointed official for special assignments of the VIII class at the Chancellery of the Caucasus and Siberian Committees, with the Chancellery included in His Imperial Highness.

November 12, 1864 resigned from service.

Founder of the Voronezh branch of the Imperial Russian Musical Society ( 1868 ), member of the directorate until 1872 . After Mazaraki’s departure from Voronezh, the society, having lost its financial support, closed [5] .

In 1869, he opened a publicly accessible music school in Voronezh . He participated in concerts as a pianist and violinist.

He was friendly with A. G. and N. G. Rubinsteins .

Had an estate in with. Twig of the Usman district of the Tambov province (currently Dobrinsky district of the Lipetsk region [6] .

He was honored magistrate of the Ottoman district of the Tambov province [7] .


Nadezhda Andreevna Obukhova recalled: “Grandfather was an excellent pianist, and I spent hours listening to Chopin and Beethoven in it,” said Nadezhda Andreevna. She remembered the stories of her grandfather about friendship with Nikolai Grigorievich Rubinstein , whose game Andrian Semenovich repeatedly listened to, and whom he deeply revered. Often, grandfather gathered grandchildren and then played them, then taught them to sing songs. Children loved to sing in voices, echoing each other. “Children, get ready for school, the cockerel has sung for a long time” or “There, far away, across the river” [1] . ”

“Grandfather entered into all the affairs of the peasants, and they greatly respected and loved him. If anything happened in the village - fires, deaths of cattle, illness, funerals, christenings, weddings - everyone turned to him for help. In the lean years, when there was famine in the villages, grandfather arranged free canteens for starving peasants, and during the cholera epidemic he organized free medical centers ” [8] .


The musicality of Andrian Semenovich, the ability to understand the qualities of music, to give it a certain characteristic aroused a feeling of sincere admiration among friends and acquaintances. He was respected as a true musician and musical figure, we would just say - an enlightener. Andrian Semenovich was the first piano teacher of Hope.
