Geographical position
The urban-type settlement Khristoforovka is located on the banks of the Bokovenka River (mainly on the left bank), the village of Pavlovka is located upstream at a distance of 3 km, the village of Kudashevka is located downstream at a distance of 2.5 km. Upstream on the river, the Khristoforovskoe reservoir was built .
History
The village of Khristoforovka was founded in the 1830s.
In 1958 - assigned the status of urban-type settlement.
In 1989, the population was2039 people [2] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 1,450 people [3] .
Economics
- OJSC Khristoforovsky Refractory Blocks and Concrete Plant is the only refractory blocks and concrete plant in Ukraine (built in 1969 ). Does not work
